The Story So Far
Good Morning, Internet! I’m BeardedInk — content creator, dev, and your favorite pint-slinging streamer.
In June of 2021, I made a relaization that I had just gone 97 days, in a row, without speaking a single word outloud. My introverted ways were getting the best of me and I decided it needed to stop.
A week later I discovered Twitch and a week after that I was live with my first ever stream. Of course everything started to break, so I started to fix things. Then I met new friends with similar broken set ups. So, I started fixing theirs, too. Eventually the requests came so often, that in 2022 I started uploading quick videos to my YouTube channel.
On one particualr video, I forgot to set it to private and woke up the next day to that video having over 1500 views. The rest, as they say, is history.
As I continued to make tutorial videos, my reach started to expand, requests came in and a live Question & Answer stream was born. I still stream games on Twitch, and together with our growing community, we are building something special. What will tomorrow bring? Well, I am about to release my very first OBS plug-in as well as my first ever Twitch Extension and Windows program.

Fun Facts
First Overlay?
The first overlay I built was for my Pokemon speedruns. It featured a webcam frame that looks like a Trainer Card.
Months Since Shaving
I haven't shaved to the skin since 2002. Though I've kept it close and well trimmed until 2020. In April of 2024 I cut 9 inches off of the beard for an interview. Haven't touched it since.
Favorite Drink
Whiskey. Almost any will do. Or a nice bottle of Shiner Bock.
